This year, grant amounts varied from $5,000 to $25,000, sourced from named and sponsored grants as well as direct funding through proceeds raised in 2025. Rosen’s Bagels, for instance, received a $10,000 grant to expand its never-before-baked frozen bagel product called fRosens. Founder Tom Rosen emphasized how this funding will allow his business to grow significantly while serving the culinary desires of the community.
Hot Spell Farm was awarded $22,500 to replace an aging tractor, enabling the farm to expand its community-supported agriculture program. Furthermore, Pickle Envy, known for its traditional fermented dill pickles, received $10,000 to invest in new fermentation equipment, enhancing both production capacity and sustainability.
Making a Difference Beyond the Plate
The alliance also funds projects with a strong focus on community impact. For instance, Casey’s Snowballs received $10,000 to launch a holiday candy line, with part of the sales dedicated to supporting local nonprofit initiatives.
